Healing and Balancing Ritual for Fall Equinox.

Happy Fall Equinox and Full moon. It’s a dandy isn’t it??

The energies are shifting after a busy, active, action based summer and our feminine souls are craving soul food, we are ravenous for soul nourishment. I personally am at a place of starvation in the soul department… hungry for a shift into softness, gentleness and ease.

Our feminine natures are howling at us to return to the darkness and caves of our inner selves. Our Wild feminine souls are waiting for us at the inner fire of sacred stillness, silence and retreat. Magic dust is in the fire waiting for us to simply sit and inhale the wonder and depths of the inner soils of oneself.

I have been so busy and active that I have lost my balance. I feel stressed, anxious and overwhelmed. And yet The Equinox calls for balance between light and dark… day and night, the physical and the spiritual.

I need more soul time, more stillness, more space for deep inner reflection and soulful contemplation.

The reality is I need to create space and sacred moments in my day for this to occur. Even if it’s ten minutes or two, the point is nourishment.

It is a time of making an offering to our souls by doing what nurtures the Inner Self. This is a Sacred Act, a Sacred offering to the Divine within ourselves.

So on this lovely Equinox begin the soul offering with some sacred time and space. Light some candles and listen to a mediation, journal, contemplate, converse with your soul and at the sacred fire within. Begin to nurture the inner self with some sort of ritual that is nurturing to thy self. Perhaps it’s a bath or a cool brisk walk in the fall foliage.

Take some deep breaths and find yourself at a fire in a dark cave with your feminine wild soul right beside you. Notice what she looks like and how hungry she appears. Offer her some food and sustenance. Giver her some water, wrap her in a blanket and tend to that inner self. Simply offer your presence and see if you can gently shape shift into her, become that inner self. Feel the aliveness and energy. Ask yourself what you need for nourishment and aliveness? Perhaps you will notice that you are doing an action or an image appears in the fire or perhaps there is simply an inner knowing. When you feel ready shift back in that outer consciousness beside your soul. Lay down a red blanket and some rocks at the fire where you sat as a sacred offering. Let your soul know you shall return with an embrace. Before you go you give her a gift, an offering, what do you notice it is. Feel how full it makes her feel. Say your goodbyes and leave the cave back into the present time.

Journal your findings if you wish. Feel the feeling of fullness spread and expand in your body, all the way into you fingertips and heart.

Have a cup of tea, light some candles and enjoy the rest of this sacred night .

Aho! And so it is ūüôā

Another Simple Dark Moon Ritual

Tonight marks the Dark Moon, well the last of it anyways as we start a New Moon cycle in a couple of days. ¬†This past month has been an emotional one, at times heavy and dark, and other times inspired and refreshing. It felt like we were navigating through dark tunnels trusting that at the end there would be light. However at times we’d grow tired of the dark or worry we wouldn’t find the end where the light was shining. And yet here we are arriving at the light, the end of the tunnel within steps.

This month I did a lot of cleaning, pondering, changing of the guard in my internal process. I had to teeter totter on lots of unknowns and usually I’d panic and assume or expect the worst. But this time, this month I changed my ways and told myself to expect the best, to envision everything working out. I felt calmer and more steady in the process and that has been a huge gift in and of itself. I followed my body’s lead and boundaries knowing it could mean everything I was building could collapse. It meant risking the outside creations that were coming my way and usually I’d just form into what was expected. But I can’t do that anymore and so I simply went inward and got to know my limits and set the boundaries to honour them and to trust this was the Divine way and path. I am risking a job doing this but it is my wellness on the line and it is me voicing what I can and can’t do for the first time ever. Id usually exist past my limits in my old life and keep going until collapse or illness. My struggle with my health and blood is really about me voicing and honouring my body and my limits and living in accordance with them, that is what I have learned. The superwoman cape is laid to rest. The real authentic version is on display.

This month too I cleaned out cabinets, files, and just crap that I had to let go. I rearranged furniture and smudged the bejesus out of my house, calling in new energy and clearing out the old mucky waters of fear or doubt.

So as we prepare for a new moon cycle let us lay to rest the old ways, the old patterns, the old negativity, the doubt, the fear, the doom… even the stuckness! Say goodbye.

DARK MOON SIMPLE RITUAL

So tonight we honor the old, we lay it to rest. ¬†We take some moments alone, in silence, in retreat, in reflection and we hold the past, the loss, the end of era in our hands. ¬†Maybe it’s an ending of a relationship or job, doubt, dead, uncertainty or whatever, we simply lay it to rest. ¬†If you can grab a stone and write on it that which you wish to bury, to honor it’s death and ending. ¬†Bury the stone into the Earth Mother under the dark moon sky and say your last and final good-byes.

Maybe you want to write a good-bye letter or simply say some words in your mind or out loud.

This clearing, this ending is prepping us for the new life, new energy that lies ahead.

For me it’s my old life. ¬†It’s never coming back and I can come to accept that so the new one I’ve been trying on can fully blossom. ¬†I don’t have to reach backwards anymore, clinging onto something that I can’t find.

Let’s clear the waters for the New Moon tomorrow.

And so it is ūüôā

If you feel called to do so, feel free to Follow the Blog. ¬†I’d be honored. ūüôā ¬†Thanks in bunches.

June full moon Energy & Soul Connecting Rituals.

This full moon the energy feels alive, electric, vibrational and active. It feels like a very masculine energy, a time when we are extremely busy… the pulse, the beat, the tempo is very fast paced and quick. There’s a lot of energy output going on as we work on manifestation, creating, doing and growing during this time and season.

And yet the words “feminine root” ( from the book Wild Feminine) is circling my busy aura, as though the energy is calling for my attention like a screaming bird in the sky.

I know I need to balance the busy masculine energy with tender, juicy, slower paced , alive, wild feminine connection. It’s tenderness and savouring of the radiant colours and experiences of summer life. My schedule feels so busy yet the need to pause and find stillness even for ten minutes feels necessary as though I need it to keep breathing.

This moon and Mars retrograde asks us to evaluate our schedules and energies. Are we balancing the feminine and masculine or at least honouring both aspects of our souls even though we may be lingering in the masculine elements at this energetic time. Are we still paying homage to the feminine ?

We need to root into our feminine natures when they are calling us home. It’s in this root that we are refuelled and filled with life force energy. It’s where our aliveness is tasted and swallowed so our connection to our own feminine wild soul is felt and experienced. It’s a place of conversing with Spirit, our guides, our ancestors and even the moon and stars so the magic and purpose of life is restored and refocused. It’s a slight, calm magical pulse of aliveness. A beautiful calm and alive contradiction.

So on this full moon the Grandmothers ask us to harness our energies that are grand and wide like a roaring fire and find the calm centre epicentre of the burning. Be the wood logs, be the air in the fire, or the blue in the flames and find the calm in the busy, dancing roar.

Read a book, journal, sit by a fire, do a feminine yoga like Yin or Restorative yoga and balance the energies. Take a Sacred pause. Stillness and contemplation are being called of us right now in brief moments amid the flaming busy energy of our lives.

Here are some journal questions for self reflection and connection during this lovely full moon. Sit by fire or light a candle. Brew some tea or summer juice and light an incense or two. Breath in the radiant full moon aliveness. Inhale the moon beams and let its magic and sparkle radiate in your cells.

1). What are you most happy and grateful for in your life right now.

2) put in a timer for five minutes and don’t lift your pen until the timer goes off. Just write what comes…. “I would love…”.

3) Imagine Grandmother Moon to become some sort of being… a person, animal, plant or element and invite her sit with you by the moon lit waters edge in your minds eye. Notice the gentle warm breeze and the burning fire. Lay a blanket for her and ask her a question, challenge or struggle you’d like guidance on. Give her an offering such as food or a gift like a necklace or bracelet. Perhaps it’s a stone. What does grandmother moon look like in form ? Just sit with this lovely energy and let her presence calm you. Let her answer you and give you guidance to your question. When you receive her words tell her thank you and ask if you can meet again. Imagine her returning to the moon on a moon beam when you are done and gently return to the present. Journal about your experiences.

Happy full moon friends xo Crystal

June New Moon Energy and Ritual

Chaos to calm, getting centered, finding clarity through confusion, learning, process, messages from the struggle, finding one’s way to calm and peace through the storm.

These are words that come to mind right now. It feels like a volcanic time with lots of emotional eruptions and loss of self or loss of centering. It’s a time of chaos and overwhelm to make us root back down into our selves. It’s a time of cleansing and purification, a deep learning about oneself through challenges and struggles.

I feel held and weighed down by overwhelm and I’ve let it consume me. The amount of energy coming at me has enveloped me and I’ve lost my way, I’ve lost my centre, my calm, my rooted stance. So I step back and take up more space than the chaos. I create even more space between me and the chaos and stand calmly at the centre of the storm as it swirls around me like wretched grey storm clouds spiralling in the winds. I don’t get pulled in, I just witness and stay calm, trusting that I will not get pulled in as I stand firmly in my strength and power. (Or at least remind myself over and over to go to the centre and find the calm).

I have been a ball of anxiety lately and as I sat with my anxiety I let it it become a being or a symbol. I let it speak to me as though it were it’s own energetic being. It showed up as a punk angry teenager with slicked, greasy hair, ripped jeans and a leather jacket… and it/he let me have it. It told me how angry he was and how I need to call my power and strength back rather than let it leak all over the place and move into chaos and overwhelm. It asked for structure and organization, a map for my energy. As I let its’ needs spew onto the page the heaviness lessened. I imagined walking into the overwhelm as my strongest self and allowed myself to envision an image of my inner warrior Queen. I’m wearing red, flowing clothes (for grounding I imagine ) and have diamond jewelled bindis between and above my eye browns. I’m tall and fierce and wear a head wrap around my hair. My stance is linear and majestic. I imagine being this Self with my eyes closed and allow that energy to spread and expand into my body, feeling the energy of my inner warrior Queen ooze into my blood vessels and pump throughout my body. I savour the breaths of this energy.

I stand and breathe in this place and invite you to do the same. Invite your struggles to speak to you. Close your eyes and imagine your challenge were a being. What does it look like? Old or young? Male, female, animal or nature? What colours or unique qualities do you notice. Let it tell you what it is trying to say through your body… perhaps you just want to write for five minutes (timed) and free flow without letting your pen leave the page. Hear your struggle and assure it you will do your part to ease the symptoms .

Call in a feeling of harmony, love, peace, calm, strength or whatever you need and imagine it to be a golden ball of light spreading and expanding through your body. Savour the breaths and breathe it in.

“This current challenge or struggle is here to strengthen you. It is a process of strengthening and learning of heart, body and soul. You are preparing for your “real work ” . This is simply the preparation, so embrace the learning.” ( a message from my guides).

12 Ways to Feel Really Alive in Everyday Life.

inspiredI’m big on making the small things big. ¬†On stretching something ordinary into something grand to really enjoy it. ¬†I mean, why not make everything special and extra-ordinary? ¬†Why not enjoy the everyday stuff? ¬†I’m trying to set-up my life where it feels like I don’t need a vacation from it.

I want my life to feel full of excitement, inspiration, joy and magic in the every day moments.  All it takes is some intention, focus and action.

So here is a list of 12 things (that’s only one a month people), of ways we can ignite the fairy glitter into the everyday. 12 ways to bring excitement, aliveness and passion into your every day life with the every day people in it. ¬†It’s fun, easy and hopefully will get your creative, airy fairy juices going cause when you’re happy, everyone is happy. ¬†That’s right, it’s contagious and uplifting. ¬†So let’s uplift this place!!! ūüôā

So here we go…

1)Sign-up for a class or activity that is all about fun. ¬†Not making money, not showing off how great you are, not about moving you forward. ¬†Do something that moves you inward, that fills your soul tank and ignites joy, peace and elation. ¬†We are so focused on accomplishment but this task, this is about experiencing aliveness, nothing else. ¬†Go take a painting class, an acting class, a music class, a moccasin making class…anything…cooking, cleaning, love-making. ¬†Just do something with the intention to feed your soul, not making money or getting ahead (although I’m well aware this is very likely to be a by-product of feeding your soul, nothing but good comes from it). ¬†ūüôā

2)Host a themed party with your friends and family. ¬†In my circle, I’m known for making people play games. ¬†I love them all…card games, board games, making up games. ¬†Host a full blown casino night or Mexican Party night where everyone brings a Mexican dish and wears bright colors. ¬†Host a Winnipeg Jets (our local team but choose your favorite sporting team) Party where everyone comes and watches the game dressed in team colors or jerseys. Don’t forget…it’s a potluck ūüôā

3)Plan a weekend road trip somewhere with friends or the fam.  It can be local or far.  Maybe to the neighboring town or city.  Spend a night, do the local activities.  Go to the casino or winter festival or local attraction. Maybe you heard of a great ski hill or bookstore or meal somewhere.  Make that your destination. Enjoy!  Stop along the way and take some fun pics.

4)Invite your friends and family to do a 30 Day Challenge of your choice. ¬†Pick one month in the year…Feb, March, June…whichever and have some sort of health inducing challenge. ¬†Maybe it’s 30 minutes of exercise for 30 days or 30 days of picture taking, or 30 days of trying new recipes. ¬†Anything, make it fun and attainable. ¬†The goal is joy and aliveness.

5)Take a late night and moonlit walk. ¬†If you live where there is snow, throw on some snowshoes, put on a head lamp or grab some flashlights and take a stroll. ¬†It’s really quite blissful and magical. ¬†I do this weekly with my dog and sometimes the hubby ūüôā ¬†To be honest, it’s kinda romantic.

6)Choose one month or even a week and have a Random Acts of Kindness challenge at work, with your family, or with friends.  Make sure to take pics and share.  Feel how good it feels to be kind and giving to others.  Buy someone in line behind you a coffee, put quarters in some shopping carts, give someone a compliment.  Bring your grandma out for lunch.  Shovel your neighbors driveways (or snow blow).  This list is endless.  Do share your ideas!!!

7)Create a romantic date night at home with the significant other in your life or have a “fancy dinner” at home with friends. ¬†I mean go all out here…candles, table cloth, the fancy china and of course your finest clothes. Pretend your dressing for a wedding and dress to the nines. ¬†Set the tone with Jazz tunes, dim the lights, ignite the candles. ¬†Enjoy lusciousness. Order in, hire a private chef or have a potluck.

8)Wake up early with the fam or with friends, get a blanket coffee, muffins, donuts and watch the sun rise.

9)Grab a blanket, go outside if you can, or by a big window, grab some vino, some bubbly juice or some sparkling water and toast the sunset. Watch the magic of the day disappear and enjoy the sparkling starlight.

10)Go to a new restaurant that you’ve always wanted to try. ¬†For me there’s this Fondue place I’ve always wanted to try just to say that I’ve been there and tried that. ¬†It’s something different and something you wouldn’t do everyday.

11)Find a local hot spot coffee shop and invite your friends for coffee, dessert and connecting.  Indulge your senses with it all.  But really, you have to have dessert.  This is about your senses, about lusciousness, about aliveness.  I mean really, chocolate and coffee are a divine intervention in your mouth!

12)Experience the arts! Spend an evening at the art gallery or go to a play, or watch live theater. ¬†Go to the symphony, the ballet, or a live poem night. ¬†Trust me, this will inspire the shit out of you!! ūüôā

There you go folks, one Full Blown Aliveness Challenge a month. ¬†You got this. ¬†Now let’s do this and do share ūüôā

If you feel called, do you feel free to FOLLOW MY BLOG, I’d be so delighted.

Cheers to a magic inspired, alive, excited, happy New Year.  Woot woot!!

And so it is.

A Movement Meditation to Break Out of Stuckness.

breaking freeMy friends,

I’m so sorry I haven’t posted in the last two days. ¬†I’ve been down and out in illness. ¬†But let’s get real, I’ve been down and out in stuckness, inertia and self-sabotage and it manifested itself as a re-occurring infection. ¬†I literally had no voice yesterday.

So here I am playing witness to my addiction to sabotage through inertia, stuckness and avoidance of going into the depths of discomfort. ¬†I have avoided being witness and experiencing the nitty gritty yuckiness. ¬†It’s fucking heavy so I ran…

I’m stuck on something, at a cross-roads and in my indecisiveness, my doubt, my non knowing, I ran from the spot and into distraction and avoided standing in the grapples of stuckness and uncertainty. ¬†So part of living truly, wildly, freely and even lusciously is to honor the tough spots, the dark spots, the wounded spots that still show up. ¬†They show up to burn away, to release so you may and I may be more and more light.

So today I spend my day in the muck, in the twisted ropes of stuckness and learn to move the energy and twist out of it. ¬†I do it by listening to it, holding it, honoring it’s message. ¬†I draw what the energy feels like in my body, dark , squiggly, lightning bolts in my lungs. ¬†Heavy with frustration, anger, even grief that I have not tended to this place of stuckness. ¬†It’s a big one. ¬†What about you?

Break Out of Stuckness Movement Meditation:

I also invite you to a movement meditation. ¬†This is a meditation where we are opening the heart chakra, well all the chakras really, but really in the heart area. ¬†Listen to the song Bulletproof/Titanium below and just close your eyes. ¬†Use arms to push away the stuck energy, even untwist the knots, remove the stuckness, uncloak the inertia and just expand and open your energy. ¬†Push your aura out from every angle, ¬†Take almost impossible steps forward with your heavy, dense legs and break free. Slowly let go of the heavy, metal armour of self-doubt and uncertainty and see how your fluidity returns as you expand and move your energy. ¬† Stomp your feet on the ground with the beat, awakening your root chakra, and your ability to step foot in where you are and move. ¬†Let you body move you, guide you out release you out of the guck. Enjoy this, like an inner spiritual massage by moving your body. ¬†Let your body’s wisdom of inner knowing and intuition move you out of stuckness. ¬†Witness what thoughts and new awareness emerges. Shake, move, expand and release.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JRfuAukYTKg

Please do share you experiences.

May we find fluidity, movement and confident steps forward.  May we take action.

And so it is.

Blessings, light and warmth.

Celebrating The Beauty of Your Ordinary – Today’s Sacred Task

ordinary“I ask for the wisdom to appreciate the sparkle of my child’s ordinariness… I ask for a reminder of my own ordinariness and the ability to bask in its beauty.” Shefali Tsabary – The Conscious Parent.

Reading this shot an arrow into my heart. ¬†I struggled with eating disorders and an addiction to perfectionism for many years. ¬†I was obsessed with being the best at everything I did like it were a drug that kept my sense of worth and value out of withdrawal. ¬†I didn’t believe who I was was enough or quite frankly even important. ¬†It’s not because I had bad parents its’ because we live in a culture that only celebrates success, achievement and accomplishment and when you are solely seen for your actions and endeavors you get a complex. ¬†We all want recognition and validation. ¬†We all want to be seen and heard and appreciated. ¬†Why does it need to come in the form of a success?

Let’s change this for ourselves and for our children. ¬†Let’s “bask in the beauty” of ordinary. ¬†I love that!

We don’t celebrate the ordinary, simple, beautiful aspects of being. ¬†Nobody celebrates your messy cooking process (which I call my creativity in the kitchen) or your sweet gentle soul rubbing the backs of your children before they go to sleep each night. ¬†Let’s do that! ¬†Let’s celebrate our ordinary ways of being. ¬†Let’s even celebrate our mediocre skills. ¬†It’s uniquely, wonderfully you. ¬†I suck at laundry, and I can own it, laugh at it and just enjoy that fun, quirky fact.

When I was doing some intense healing work on myself I forced myself to step out of perfectionism box by having a goal to not try and be the best and I forced myself to not try my best because my best was full tilt, way past my limits and a give all to get all kind of approach. I’d lose my balance, my well-being, my marbles…just to end up on top and feel like I was enough. ¬†I was foaming at the mouth for a sense of worth and esteem. ¬†So I set my sights on a new target….I wanted to be middle of the pack. ¬†I didn’t want to be the best, instead be average. It was freeing, I actually starting enjoying what I was doing. ¬†I could take a run with no time limits or distance markers to accomplish, I could just move my body and run freely. ¬†It brought me back in my body, in the moment, in the experience and not the outcome. ¬†I could play baseball and drop the ball without feel ashamed or embarrassed, I could be gentler and laugh. ¬†My success was no longer my lifeline and it allowed fun to move in.

But hoowahhhh! It was also tough. ¬†It allowed my true wounds and holes to emerge so I could heal them, not soothe them with a medal or academic achievement. ¬†That’s when true and lasting change happened.

So today, let’s celebrate our ordinariness, our average skills or aspects of the self. Let’s celebrate the ordinary things we do each day that perhaps are not celebrated or recognized and shift the idea that who we are is what we do. ¬†Our beingness, our intimate connections, our soul connections are just as, if not more important, in the world than what we do. ¬†People will remember who you were, how you made them feel, your qualities, not what you did in this life.

Today’s Sacred Task:

Celebrate your ordinary. ¬†Own it like a beautiful new scarf and flaunt it for us. ¬†Share what you’ve got. Find at least 8 wonderfully, beautiful ordinary things about yourself and shine the light on it: ¬†Your beingness is just as important in the word, the unseen, unnoticed things that make the world go round. ¬†Start celebrating for yourself and see what happens ūüôā

Here’s a few aspects of my beautiful ordinary:

1) I try and paint beautiful pictures but truthfully, I’m not that great at it. ¬†It’s fun trying!

2) I’m messy in the kitchen when I cook and have learned to call it my creative process and taught my husband to call it the same ūüėČ

3) I thrive in organized chaos, my work desk is always this way.

4) I love going for walks in the woods with my son, it’s simple and ordinary and awesome.

5) I let my son beat me more often than not at Trouble or card games.

6) I’m romantic, I buy flowers and write notes to my husband on rainy days and Mondays.

7) I hate cleaning, I’d way rather cut the grass or shovel the driveway, heck even take out the garbage.

8) I pretend I’m a world famous singer and lip sync like a bat out of hell while I cook supper. ¬†Pink has because my alter ego.

It’s your turn…

30 Days of Wildly, Luscious, Soulful Living – You in??

divineIn Manitoba, Canada we got hit with a snow storm. ¬†It was after all the snow had melted and it seemed as though spring had sprung, albeit a little earlier than usual. ¬†Then the snow….oh the snow. ¬†Since the dumping of the cold, crisp white on top the emerging and awakening grass, I thought about how much it reflected my own internal experience. ¬†I was excited for the new beginnings, the awakenings, the re-birthing that was occurring. ¬†And then… stuckness. ¬†It’s been halted by the old, stagnating, stalled, slowed down into inertia old story. ¬†I have felt a great inner restless and boredom, like I’m being confined in stuckness, shackled into immobilization and separated from the new.

Anna Merkaba from Sacred Ascension writes, “…I would like to point out to all of you that the next few days leading up to this blood moon may¬†see you incredibly conflicted. All of your old memories and RE-Actions are going to come back, you may¬†feel as if all the work that you have done on yourself is slipping way from you and you are right back to square one.

However, that is absolutely NOT¬†what is happening. Simply the last ounces of ‚Äúdirty water‚ÄĚ are being squeezed right out of you. Brought up for you to deal with finally, and use all that you have learnt up to this point to SHIFT¬†your focus onto the POSITIVE. ( https://sacredascensionmerkaba.wordpress.com/2015/03/26/blood-moon-freedom-portal-urgent-message-to-ground-crew-galactics/)

So here I am and likely many of you dealing with the final shackles of the old, breaking them completely away, healing the wounds on our wrists where the old gripped us with pain paralysis and prevented from moving forward on the soul path. ¬†I must say there are great gifts that come with restlessness and conflicts, even stuckness. ¬†It’s a great catalyst for change, when things finally feel so yucky, so incredibly heavy and reckless on the inside we create a plan. ¬†We get busy making changes to get out of it. ¬†It can set us forward, so there are gifts from the fear and despair in the lost tunnel of the old. ¬†New creation can come from friction.

In light of this I’m going to share my process of 30 Days of ¬†Wild, Luscious Soulful Living, a commitment to engage and move into the world and in my life as my wild, free, tribal soul. ¬†It’s a commitment of aliveness and connection to my Sacred Feminine core. ¬†It’s a shift of thinking, of intention and of experience. ¬†Will you join me and participate to committing to your Sacred Feminine soul, dying to come out and dance and play and indulge in the extraordinary senses of living on the planet? ¬†Why not! ¬† I’ll share my daily exercises, writing prompts and rituals to¬†Tap Into Your Wild. ¬†So feel free to jump into your Feminine Wild Roots with me!!!!

****My friends, be sure to join the mailing list if you haven’t already because I don’t want you miss out on any of the the daily activities to ignite your wild! ūüôā ¬†***

So let’s start, today with 30 Days of Wildly Luscious Soulful Living and shake off the stagnation remnants of the old guck. ¬†Yahooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!

I’m not asking to go and act out and be wild and crazy, no no no. ¬†It’s a commitment to uniting with your Wild, Feminine, Tribal soul that sits waiting for you in your gut. ¬†It can be found and experienced through transformational writing, meditation, dance, ritual, sacred art, sacred tasks, activities. ¬†It can be found in a gratitude list, or the caress of the warm sun on your chilly cheeks. ¬†It can be found in cooking with music and dance as part of the ingredient list.

So then What is the Sacred Feminine, What is it like to live Wildly, Lusciously, Soulfully?

It is an experiencing and embracing of your wild, primal, tribal nature.¬† It is a following of your alive instincts, your wild animal self, guiding you through inner knowing, emotion, intuition and gut feeling.¬† It is the language of the divine, found in your body.¬† You are the Divine and the Divine is you.¬† It is an awakening of your wild feminine and owning it, celebrating it like it was your birthright to feel, to intuit, to create, to nurture.¬† You are made of this wild feminine dust, you are meant to roar with the big dogs, to howl like wolves, to move like the wind.¬† You were meant to live your life, wildly awake, thirsting for life force energy that awakens your blood.¬† You awake through creating, through dancing, through intention.¬† You were meant to follow the drum beat into the forest and twirl like the fairies while standing as solid and firm as oak trees.¬† This is your birthright…you are born wild, fierce, strong, free.¬† Bring your wild into your home, bring your wild into your parenting and indulge yourself in your presence, in consciousness, in everyday living, sucking the juice from the fruit of life. Do what you want to do, creativity is your bridge, your gateway to uniting the mundane with your wild.¬†¬† Paint a colorful paintbrush on your life and bring passion, aliveness and celebration in your life.

Stayed tuned for Wildly Luscious Living -Day 1 Task coming up!  (Make sure to add your email to make sure you get all 30 days of it. Join the Women’s Tribe Facebook Page to stay posted on upcoming events and info as well.

How to Keep Afloat during this Final Moon Cycle of Winter…

almost drowningAt the height of the full moon, emotions come to the surface for release. ¬†They peak at full capacity and bust open the gates of the damn. ¬†I’m there, the gates are open, I feel like I’m been thrashed around in the dark, muddy water. ¬† From having a leaking roof, to having to deal with legal matters, to struggling with communication in my relationship, the forces of change and resolution have found me. ¬†They are swirling me around, spinning me so the guck can come out and fly off of me once and for all.

From the full moon to the new moon, we sort our stuff out. ¬†What if we don’t resist and just keep following the thrashing waters? ¬†I know that a new moon, solar eclipse and spring equinox are on its way in the next week and half. ¬†There is lots of change coming, and the change, the dissolution, the struggle before the change is happening now. ¬†The gears are already starting to shift and even though its in the tough point, at least for me, let it not de-rail us. It’s like the moment just before birth, it’s painful, wretched and we want out. ¬†That is where we are. ¬†There is stuff to sort out once and for all so we can move to rebirth easily, gently, free from the tethers of the past. ¬†A brand new beginning is on it’s way, so we are wrapping up and pruning the old, lingering branches. ¬†In fact, they are breaking off forcefully. ¬†We may be wondering, what is happening, why is all this occurring, that my friend’s is what’s happenin’.

Let the buckets of emotional wisdom flowing towards you take you down stream into their depths where you will learn and face your inner truth. ¬†It’s gut wrenching and revolutionary. ¬†It’s a magical whirlwind felt underwater that will bring you to the cracks in your soul. ¬†The place we so often don’t want to look. ¬†The place where the divine meets the physical, the raw, gritty, place of truth that we feel whether we want to or not. ¬†Here is the place of the gods and goddesses, the place where magic can bubble out if we allow the wound to open and release in order for it to heal. ¬†There is a message there, information for you on your journey home to soul expression in the world.

Sit with me in the muck, the darkness…the womb and absorb and release what is trying to come out. ¬†Prepare before spring’s rebirth and new beginnings that lie just ahead. ¬†We are about to pop through the soil with our luscious stem holding the germinating bud of beauty.

I pulled a card for this time between the moons. ¬†The Patience or Temperance card emerged. ¬†It’s teachings are about balancing both the physical and spiritual and how we need to honor both aspects of the Self. ¬†Sometimes I get so caught up in the spiritual realm, I forget that the physical is equally important or equally enjoyable, not to mention equally necessary. We must do things in order to bring about the change or dream ahead. ¬†Action must be balanced with envisioning. ¬†We need patience too, because we can not force or rush the action or creation. ¬†Things are slower paced sometimes in the physical, it’s a process, a pathway, one step at a time. ¬†Slow down, take the gentle road, don’t rush, force or spin our wheels in frantic chaos to the new cycle and changes ahead. ¬†Can you move with the changes gently, naturally or do we force it, get overwhelmed, spin into chaos? ¬†How do you approach change? (explore this in your journal)

There’s a need for patience, balance and to listen to all points of view. ¬†Forcing things won’t work, pushing too hard or even pulling too little. ¬†We need to find the ebb and flow, resist over-indulgence, find moderation and equilibrium.

Keep flowing and cleansing that shtuff(intended typo) out !!

Embrace the Full Moon Energies with these Gentle Rituals.

“A full moon in Virgo calls for a quiet night in, organizing one‚Äôs underwear drawer while simultaneously sorting through deep thoughts about life, love and the pursuit of happiness. A full moon in Virgo (especially one that is within 2 degrees of Lilith moonas this one is) simply begs us to wrestle with god and the myriad of philosophies we make up about Her.” (http://www.chaninicholas.com/full-moon-virgo-venus-meets-uranuspluto-square/#sthash.41wfMyN2.dpuf

This is the last full moon in winter for those of us in the northern hemisphere.  If you’ve been working with the moon energies, we feel like things are getting clearer, more focused.  We are zoning in on the goal at hand, we see it, we can taste, we can even feel it.  It is beyond the dream stage, it is in pursuit of fruition. It is trying to be born.  Labour pains have begun. And we have had to go through the muck, the sticky, gooey muck trying to hold us back or keep us stuck.  Take a bow, for you and I have drudged on…and we can see the light.  We are beginning to poke a hole in the soil where we will soon emerge out and blossom.

I pulled two tarot cards for this Full Moon and wouldn’t you know it they are polar opposites that work together.  The first was the Crown Chakra card.  The place that signifies our connection to the cosmos, spirit, the Universe at large.  It is the place that dreams and visions enter our aura.  It’s the vessel to the dream world… the spirit world.  We have been working on seeing them, bringing them in, and holding them in our cavernous souls this winter.  It’s like we’ve been sitting with our dreams at the fire, keeping warm, getting to know them in and out.

The second card was called Firm Foundation, a physical realm or Earth card.  It speaks to building that solid foundation, security, solidarity.  It’s like planning how to manifest the dream. How do we do this?  What is the first step?  How can I make that a true and lasting reality?  How can I build it on solid ground?

We are being ping ponged in the energy between the two cards.  We are bringing the dream or vision down in the physical and beginning the process of manifesting them.  It’s a whirlwind of energy.  It’s like running through the forest, at times luscious, sweet, invigorating as we take in the woodsy pine smell.  And at other times we are knee high in the muck, crawling on a trail of rocks wondering if we are going to make it back home to safety and security.  What a roller coaster of ups and downs.

Be gentle with ourselves this full moon.  We are working things through.  Allow for flexibility, change and roads to open up. Be patient and trusting.  Review what things have worked in the past and what didn’t.  Learn from your past mistakes and successes.  It’s like we are in the middle of the trek.  Actually the book Wild is coming to mind by Cheryl Strayed.  We are in the middle of the trail, going through some major successes and facing our wild fears.  Know that you will get through, you will find a way, like a flower that desires to bloom, it will fight through the soil to move from seed to an expression of colorful beauty.  You will fight your way, you will make it.  I will make it.  New things are on the horizon and we are finally facing the fears that kept us back from our dreams.  It’s a sword fight but you are strong and you will win.  You simply must accept the challenge and conquer what has always held you back for at the end of the trail is a brand new life.  A brand new birth.  A brand new way of being.  (In a couple weeks we have a New Moon and Solar eclipse.  Lots is occurring this month.)

So trek on, keeping moving forward, onward, even if you have to loop around the same spot a couple of times.  You will manifest.

FULL MOON RITUALS :

winter spring2

Sometimes I feel a lot of energy to move on full moons but this one feels like there are things to do but calmly.  Nothing too wild for me.  I will cleanse the energy in my home and take a trek in the woods.   Perhaps my hubby, son and I shall have a small fire in the snow on this last wintery full moon and simply take in the energy, the swirling, mixing, manifesting energies that are at hand.  New things are on the horizon, so enjoy the road there.  Take in the smells, reflect on how far you’ve come over the winter and all things you’ve released so you could prepare for the new ahead.  Take a stroll and stand in the bright light of grandmother moon and let her beams fill you. Soak it in with some luscious woodsy tea and drink it all in.

So here a couple simple ideas to work with this moon.

1) Do some cleaning and organizing.  Virgo energies love this.  Organization, organization, organization.  It’s logical and linear.

2) Put on some gentle music and cleanse the energy of your home.  Even open the windows a bit a let the final breezes of winter sway through your home.  Use sage or cedar and sweep the old energy out.

3) Take an evening stroll, if you can in the woods and just allow the moon beams to hit you.  Soak it in.  Feel the energies, like you are in the middle place between the storm and the sun, between the old and new, death and rebirth. The great dreaming bear is waking up in the cave, winter is coming to an end, spring is on it’s way.  It’s exiting, raw and riveting.  How will the new dream be fed?  Feel the energies. Make a gratitude list or say it out loud as you stroll.

4)  Have a cup of tea, light a candle and so some journalling.  Reflect on the winter.  What dreams have traveled towards you?  What visions did you get to know?  See them.  Talk to them on paper, how do they want to move out?  What are the steps?  Make a small plan of action.  Jot down some ideas to really begin to move them forth.

Enjoy.

Happy Full Moon!!!
